At INI, education does not stop at college. We continue to learn as we travel, read, interact and write. INI facilitates that deserving team members get a chance to do all of this. We believe that traveling, research, attending workshops and conferences is a great way to grow as a professional. Our scholarships enable worthy employees to further their interest in exploring a place, researching a new theme or attending a workshop to learn something new.

Each year INI provides four types of scholarships to such deserving employees:

Travel Scholarship – to travel to a new place to learn new (or old) design principles and understand their applications in current and local contexts.
Seminar-Workshop Scholarship – to attend a seminar or a workshop that can enhance knowledge and also widen our professional network
Research Scholarship – to research a new theme that can be used in our design solutions or can bring in new learnings
Outreach programs – to collaborate, travel and work with other International offices on projects

Every year we select up to 10 highly motivated individuals for internship at our offices. For graduate (bachelor) students we require a commitment of minimum 5-6 months. We also offer summer internships for Post-graduate (masters) students for 2 months. As an intern we make sure that you are exposed to all aspects of the practice including design, delivery, site visits, etc. As an intern you will be part of a project team, involved in the same work as other team members, and sharing the same facilities. Expect hard work but also respect and to be taken seriously.

For graduate internships starting in January, please submit your application by 30th November. For internships starting in July please submit your applications by 31st May.

Senior Consultant - Project Management Services

REPORTS TO

Project in charge

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will collaborate with other diverse members of the firm such as Architects, Master planners, MEP Designers etc. Candidate needs to carry our project management consultancy for Waste to Energy projects.

Preparation and integration of budgets, get it discussed and approved by client in time
Analyze actual against budget at each stage of the project and work on scaling variance.
Design systems and processes to monitor for better managerial decisions & interventions
MIS Reporting in Client specific formats
Organizing meetings with client at regular interval to understand the gaps and risk factors and propose action plans for approval
Escalate critical quality and timeline issues with the Client
Impart training to various functions / teams in line with new technology adaption, negotiation, cost optimization, effective execution etc.
Ensure compliance with all Client/Industry Standards
liaison with various contractors, agencies to ensure smooth execution of project
Take a lead in resolving various administrative and operational issues
Candidate may have to visit Client’s office/project site at regular interval or may have to be placed at Client’s office/ project site.

REQUIREMENTS

B. E./B.Tech. Mechanical/Civil/Electrical with MBA
At least 15 years of experience
Must have experience in handling large size waste to energy projects
Must have experience in project management consultancy
Must have experience in preparing financial modeling
Proficiency with MS office, MS Project and other modern software
Candidate should have served at General Manager or above position in current previous Organization.
Candidate must be able to manage a team of 3 to 5 members. Candidates should also be versatile, self-motivated, passionate with a well-rounded set of professional skills that will allow them to contribute in a meaningful way to the firm, its clients, collaborators, and the projects in the studio.

Architect – Ahmedabad Office

Working with the design team on projects from concept design through GFC’s
Assist with the selection and review of materials
Attend client and construction meetings / site visits
Responsible for daily design or technical development of project
Act as a project architect for one/two projects.
Manage files, drawing sets, data and documentation for the project

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
COA/Other field related registration is desirable.
Good Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch up, 3dMax)
Good Knowledge of graphic presentation tools (Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills, team oriented, self-initiator, responsible, and highly motivated.
LEED/IGBC/GRIHA desirable but not mandatory

The successful candidate will work with the marketing team to design and produce marketing-related deliverables including proposals, brochures, presentations, etc. He/She will also work with project teams to design and produce project-related deliverables including reports and presentations. Specific responsibilities include:

Assisting marketing team in developing visually stimulating marketing materials
Updating brochure layouts, creating informational graphics, and email campaigns
Assist in preparing award submissions and magazine articles
Assist in designing architectural presentations, project submissions reports

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Design, Communications, Marketing or related field. Preference will be given to post graduate candidates
At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, environmental graphics, and branding.
Background or prior work experience in architecture a plus

Marketing Executive

REPORTS TO

Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will work with senior management to produce proposals and qualifications packages including: graphics, layout, writing/editing, printing, binding and delivery. He/She will support efforts to reinforce the branding and identity of the firm in marketing collateral and communications including client proposals/brochures/presentations, advertisements, and award submissions. Specific responsibilities will also include:

Tracking marketing opportunities (RFPs, RFQs,)
Overseeing and producing RFP’s and RFQ’s with staff assistance
Writing, editing and managing resumes/bios, project descriptions and other related documents
Assisting in preparation of presentations, brochures and other marketing material

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in design related field, marketing or other related field. Preference will be given to post graduate candidates.
At least 3 years of experience in proposal preparation preferably for architecture, engineering, or other design related organizations.
Strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills
